Bio

Lesedi Khable-Stevens (they/them) is a mixed-media artist from Austin, TX whose work explores identity, emotion, memory, and the experiences of marginalized communities.

Influenced by their perspective as a Queer, Black, and Female artist, they blend representational and abstract techniques. When creating abstract art, they weave thick lines with washes of thinner paint to represent both the concrete and intangible experiences of emotions. When collaged together with photography, the pieces  create visual stories about the physical and metaphysical.
